PRODUCT CO-DESIGN

Seal-Team offers its customers a product co-design and co-engineering service with the aim of optimising your production and mold yields, thus minimising the accessory finishing processes.

Reverse engineering

starting from a sample, Seal-Team can analyse and redesign your components, developing mathematics and 3D drawings with the help of a dedicated CAD / CAM software.

Mold construction

Seal-Team develops and offers 2D or 3D CAD design of molds, whose manufacturing is entrusted to selected and reliable external partners. Seal-Team pays close attention to equipment maintenance to ensure an excellent final product.

Selection of raw materials

The production process starts from the correct selection and procurement of the best rubber compounds, purchased from specialised and certified suppliers.

The wide availability of raw materials in stock allows for production continuity and the containment of product delivery times, guaranteeing a high-quality service.

Production

The production process complies with ISO 9001: 2015 standards and relies on a fleet of injection moulding machines – both vertical and horizontal – from 190 to 500 tons.

Technical articles in rubber / rubber-metal can be moulded starting from 50 gr up to 6 kg, with molds that can reach dimensions of 1200 x 750 mm.

The production management is completely computerised and all the machines are monitored and interfaced remotely with the aim of understanding the workload and production schedule in real time, as well as allowing the storage of processing parameters.

Finishing and control

At the end of production, each batch is subjected to a series of subsequent finishing and control processes, carried out manually by our qualified personnel.

The processes following the moulding phase include:

Manual deburring
Nitrogen
Grinding
Cutting
Post-vulcanisation (static or rotating ovens)
Sorting
Packaging

When carried out externally, these operations are entrusted to consolidated suppliers, who manage their activities based on the quality standards required by Seal-Team and according to procedures in line with the parameters of internal quality certification.
